Brown expects Celtic to target striker
Former captain Scott Brown expects Celtic to look at their forward areas in the January transfer window.
Kyogo Furuhashi has been the club's main central strejkande so far this season and back-up Oh Hyeon-gyu will be missing for a period as he is in South Korea's Asian Cup squad.
"I'm sure they'll look at another striker," Brown said. "They'll always want to make sure there's competition high up the park. And maybe another winger as well."
In terms of outgoings, Brown expects former manager Brendan Rodgers to do his utmost to keep what he has.
"There's always interest in top quality players and that's what Celtic have got," Brown explained. "They've got a lot of young players as well that could push on probably as well but also that Celtic want to keep a hold of.
"I'm sure that will be the main thing on Brendan's list at this moment in time -

Scott Brown: Former Celtic captain back in Scottish football at Ayr United
Celtic legend Scott Brown has made a return to Scottish football after being appointed as Ayr United's new head coach.
The former Hoops captain has been out of management since being sacked by English League One side Fleetwood in September.
He will be assisted by his former Hibernian team-mate Steven Whittaker at Somerset Park with both signing contracts until 2026.
Brown, who also played for Hibs and Aberdeen, had been linked with several jobs including Forrest Green, Inverness and St Johnstone.
The 38-year-old takes over from Lee Bullen who was dismissed by the Scottish Championship side after a goalless draw with bottom side Arbroath.
Ayr United chairman David Smith said: "I am delighted to welcome Scott and Steven as the new management team.
"We have had a busy eight days conducting informal conversations and more formal interviews with a number of very credible candidates and Scott and Ste
