    Abey Kuruvillapronunciation (born 4 August ) is an Indian former cricketer and general manager of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). He played as a bowler in mids for Indian cricket team. He was a selector of BCCI.[1]

    During his career, Kuruvilla was notable for his 6&#;ft 6&#;in (&#;m) height and broad frame.[2] He grew up in Chembur, Mumbai. He retired from all forms of cricket in , and has taken up coaching.

    In his brief international career, Kuruvilla played in thirty-five international matches, ten Tests and twenty-five One Day Internationals, all in the same calendar year.[3]

    MUMBAI: A complaint alleging conflict of interest has been filed against newly-appointed national selector Abey Kuruvillaby former Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association member Sanjeev Gupta.
    The complaint against the former pacer has been lodged with the BCCI's Ethics Officer Justice (Retd) D K Jain.
    Gupta has alleged that Kuruvilla's conflict of interest centres around his twin roles of being the Sports Director of the DY Patil academy and a national selector.
    Kuruvilla, who played 10 Tests and 25 ODIs for India, was on Thursday named in the national selection panel by the Board's Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) comprising Madan Lal, R P Singh and Sulakshana Naik.
    A similar complaint alleging conflict of interest has been filed by Gupta against Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) president Vijay Patil.
