Manu Intiraymi was born in Santa Cruz, California. His name is a combination of "Manu", the Incan God of Law, and "Intiraymi", the Incan God of the Sun. He spent most of his childhood traveling around the US and the world with his parents. When he was 4 years old, Intiraymi saw a production of Peter Pan at a local community theater and developed an interest in acting.
After graduating high school, Intiraymi attended P.C.P.A. California Conservatory, before moving to Hollywood. He began training at the Howard Fine Studio and Playhouse West, while also working in television, film, and theater. Initraymi's theater credits include roles in Waiting for Godot, Marvin's Room, and The Wizard of Oz.
