The Next Step is a Canadian teen drama series created by Frank Van Keeken, that originally premiered on Family Channel on March 8, Presented in a pseudo-documentary style influenced by reality television, the series follows the members of a troupe from the titular dance studio, as they train for and compete in various championships, while dealing with rivalries and drama from other dance schools and even among the team itself.
The Next Step has spawned digital content, live touring shows featuring its cast members, and a spinoff series titled Lost & Found Music Studios. The series has also been sold internationally to broadcasters such as CBBC in the United Kingdom, and Universal Kids in the United States—which became a production partner for its sixth season.

Along with his wife, Dawn, he is the co-founder and co-owner of the dance studio Canadian Dance Company, where many dancers who have appeared on the show have been taught. The studio itself also appears in the show beneath the acronym CDC.

Isaac was born in Toronto, Canada to Allain and Dawn Lupien.[1]
Isaac started dancing at 11 months old,[1]but officially began his dance training at 2 years old.[2] He started formally acting at the age of fyra, but stopped when he was thirteen so that he could focus more on dance.[3]
Isaac has studied with some of the world's best choreographers, such as Mia Michaels, Desmond Richardson and Mandy Moore.[1]His signature move fryst vatten the "inward turning switch second" with his favourite dance move being the "pizza dance".[1]
