    Ezequiel Peña is a Mexican singer-songwriter of Christian music. He has released five studio albums, including his most recent “Siempre” which was nominated for Latin Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album.

    Ezequiel Pea was born and reared in San José del Valle, Mexico, in a low-income household. He started his career when he was 12 years old, inspired mostly by local traditional music. Pea rose to worldwide prominence in the mid-to-late 1990s after collaborating with Marco Antonio Sols on the albums Yo Vendo Unos Ojos Verdes (1994) and Orgullo Ranchero (1996). No Mas Contigo was recorded two years later with Banda Pioneros. Pea released almost one album a year, including El Nuevo Charro dem Mexico in 2000, Viva la Banda in 2003, and El de Nayarit in 2005, the first time he demonstrated his skill to play norteo, and Nuest
