    Range Rover Evoque Not Accelerating

    I know there is a sister forum and the whole of the inter webs.. I’ve had a Google but nothing too specific….

    My Dad has a 2012 Evoque 2.2D, TD4 I think it says. He has occasionally had restricted performance appear on the dash… then it would go away, or go away whilst he was driving. He said you wouldn’t notice it as a passenger but he noticed the engine slightly stutter, then all was well again…

    Been out in it today and it wouldn’t accelerate above light throttle… flat to the floor… nothing other than the first 1500rpm or so. No smoke or anything….. Of course if you changed up it pulled a bit, as at bottom of Rev range again… no fault showing on dash… sometimes you turn it off and it’s all good again.

    He doesn’t have a code reader…. I’ve suggested he needs to get it to the garage now… have any of you folks got
