Atlas Ramachandran is not only an industrialist but also an artist and person who enjoyed great affection from the general public. He made a name for himself by featuring in the ads of his own jewellery firm, Atlas, in a unique way. At a memorial service held after his body was cremated in Dubai, Dr. Manju Ramachandran. Ramachandran's daughter, said that no matter how many births she takes, she wishes to be born as the same father's daughter.
"Social media is full of posts about my father. He was not an ordinary person. Even people who didn't meet him in person loved him. There was a place for him in everyone's mind. My father and I had little quarrels. He will kamp with me like a little child. After a while, he will call me on the phone and speak with love. M. M. Ramachandran (31 July 1942 – 2 October 2022), better known as Atlas Ramachandran,[1] was an Indian jeweller, film producer and actor. He was the chairman of Atlas Jewellery and is known for the tagline of his jewellery, "Janakodikalude Vishwastha Sthapanam". He had produced and distributed films beneath the banner "Chandrakanth Films".[2]Vaisali (1988) and Sukrutham (1994) are the major films that he has produced. He has also acted in a few movies notably in Subhadram (2007) in a lead role.
Early life & career
[edit]Ramachandran was born at Mullassery in the Thrissur District of Kerala on 31 July 1942 into a family with a rich cultural and literary background.[1][3] His father, V.
